Family and business: a bond that needs care and good counsel to endure.
If you own a family business, I can help you order the ownership structure, resolve disputes, handle inheritance and the transfer of the business to the next generation, and set the legal terms between the family and the company.

A significant part of my professional experience has been shaped by working with companies and brands in whose founding, ownership and management families play a central role. In this work I have seen many times how family tensions find their way into the business, and how disputes over ownership, management or the transfer of assets to the next generation threaten the continuity of the business — at times pushing it to the brink of dissolution.
Experience as a lawyer and mediator, together with training in psychoanalysis, has deepened my conviction that legal action taken without regard to family relationships can intensify a dispute rather than resolve it. So in examining any matter, beyond the documents and the legal relationships, I also attend to the concerns of family members and the relationships between them — with the aim of finding solutions that both protect individual rights and help resolve the dispute for good.
